Gwynedd Sports Awards 2023

On the evening of Tuesday 5th December 2023, the Gwynedd Sports Awards were held at Galeri Caernarfon. The awards were held by Byw’n Iach to celebrate the successes of Gwynedd residents in a variety of sporting fields.

Thank you to our guest Morgan Jones who hosted the evening perfectly and to Gruffydd Wyn for entertaining us during the break.

Here’s what Alun Jones, our Partnerships Manager had to say about the night:

“It was great to see the Galeri full and have the opportunity to highlight all the hard work and the talent that we have in Gwynedd. It was a very successful night and thanks to everyone who took part on the night or was part of the preparations leading up to the Ceremony. We look forward to the 2024 Ceremony.”

A host of prizes for very deserving individuals were presented by the Byw’n Iach team. Here are the winners from all the categories presented on the night:

Club of the Year: Menai Track and Field
Coach of the Year: Llinos Dobbins
Senior Person of the Year: Llywelyn Williams
Service to Sport: Meic Griffiths & Tony Parry
